Couldn’t be any further from the truth. All I’m saying Mr. Baby Boomer is most of us have other airlines that are knocking at our door. Some of us might prefer to be at AA. If they don’t get back to us, then both the candidate and airline risk losing each other.

You should definitely tell them that at NGPA. I'm sure they'll immediately realize they are losing such a strong candidate and issue you a class date on the spot.

if you ACTUALLY have a job offer from another major, tell them, and if no response go there, and update your app… you’ll probably get a call
