Barring incorporation of a COLA, short term CBAs are the best bet with inflation rates as they are now and likely will be for at least a few years.

Definitely COLA after the contract "expires". Also we really need start to talk "today dollars" when comparing rates. DL 737 rates for 2000 were $215, that is $336 in 2021, $50 more than what a 737 PIC makes now, and what a A330 captain makes now. People are talking like Sunny pay rates are higher than DL, but they are not. $284 in 2019 is way more than $285 in 2025. ALWAYS correct for inflation!!!!

Who was "John" on the Push to Talk wanting to be a uniform nazi? Don't dare have your hat off or be relaxed ever with your coat unbuttoned. As if there aren't better things to worry about with AA.
I live in an area that actually has winter and temps in the 30s right now. Going to some warm destinations, others with humidity as well, AA is lucky I'm wearing the coat at all. Now having it buttoned and the hat I'd be sweating like a mofo. How good would that look to the passengers?
