No issue waiting but 3 plus weeks… come on now! We should have our preliminary results within a few days and final awards within a week. Week is long enough for the union to check the results.

Lets go. This is way to long to wait. Embarrassing for the AA community. People need to plan their lives and vacation for next year.

It would def be some bullsh*t if they publish the results after we bid vacation. I believe today is 3 weeks since the vacancy closed. Hopefully they’ll have an update or the results by the end of the work week, Thursday.

It is "supposed" to come out on the 7th.
We have known this for at least two weeks.
IIRC, you are not supposed to be awarded training and vacation in the same month.

IIRC, your vacation bid is based on what 4 part status you hold in Jan.

For some, it would change when they choose to take their vacation. Before/ After upgrade is one particular choice. 1st round bidding closes on the 14th, so it should not be a factor, unless the company takes longer than the 14th of January.

Because…. June award would put your training in March, April, or May. If training falls over your vacation the company can cancel or move your vacation. I would like to avoid bidding vacation during possibly training months… especially in round 1. Not too mention if you’re upgrading it’s in your best interest to bid June-Aug vacation.
