DFW is more junior now too - May and June of 2014 for the 737 and Airbus respectively.

Surely, I’m guessing next vacancy (March) will have some 2016 DOH.

There are a few cases in which total "on property" company time does not equal pilot seniority time. I have flown with a few different individuals that began as mechanics and/or flight attendants prior to flying. I believe vacation accumulation time is still based on their longevity with the company without regard to their original job position. Not sure if there are any other benefits besides that.

MAYBEEEEE LGA, but other than that I would say no to 2016 hires getting the upgrade...there are still ALOT of 2014 and 2015 hires to go through before a 2016 gets the upgrade...which is why I say maybe LGA for a 2016, never underestimate the SUCK that is LGA flying/commuting!

We’ll see, I agree LGA will see it first. Not everyone wants to upgrade.. especially sit reserve :-/

Usually the spring vacancies see a lot of upgrades compared to the other months. The October and December vacancies had more than normal because they are under-staffed. It's probably reasonable to see 2016 hires get an upgrade in LGA. But LGA will always be super junior because of the commute and covering two airports. Pre-covid, the June 2020 vacancy saw a lot of junior captains in LGA (2014 hires). So it's not a stretch to expect some 2016 hires for a spring 2022 vacancy bid in LGA.
