Yes, the school house is packed with requals coming off furlough. Yesterday they cancelled a DFW-YVR 737 flight. No FO out of requal to take the flight. Have cancelled a bunch next week due to lack of FO. Same reason.

What I hear is in August or September, with hiring starting like mad house, they will offer these. Speculation on my part, but highly probable. OTS hiring is supposed to start in September.

And still just hiring 600 next year? How is it that American is planning on 50 per month and Delta is hiring 200 per month? We are apparently a bit short on pilots. Or is it that American has them, they’re just not current?
