They were displaced to the street too, they just have the right to get back to PHL first since that was their original awarded position...thats how I understand it anyways...

They definitely were displaced to the streets. I get how it technically happened, I just think the language should be such that a furlough counts as a displacement rather than a situation like this that allows the more junior pilot to get back to base first. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining about them getting to the base they want. Just a weird situation is all.

All I know is me and my buddies were furloughed out of PHL and can’t hold it now, but those few guys got reinstatement rights and we didn’t. Maybe there’s a different way to bid for reinstatement where you indicate you were displaced? I’ll shelve that one for the next furlough

All I know is me and my buddies were furloughed out of PHL and can’t hold it now, but those few guys got reinstatement rights and we didn’t. Maybe there’s a different way to bid for reinstatement where you indicate you were displaced? I’ll shelve that one for the next furlough
