AA Hiring?
#931
Bring a nice resume. Spend the money and get a bunch of copies to hand out to recruiters. LOR’s don’t come into play until later. If you have a scheduled meet and greet a printed application may come in handy, but it’s not required. Have you intro well prepared and polished. The impression you make will lead them to your resume, which they’ll likely write things on and set aside to be referenced when they get back to the office.

Makes sense. I just wonder if I’ve got bad timing- applying before the holidays? I think I’m competitive- 8500 tt 4 year degree, 2.7k tpic 1 checkride failure and I’m at ULCC.. 6 internal LOR’s… I don’t know what else I can do?

I think it’s just the Holidays. I have similar stats and 4 internal recs. I think they’ll call it just may be a bit of a wait.

Those are definitely competitive hours. There’s no real secret sauce to it. I’m sure you’ll hear something soon with how much hiring is going on. On the bright side once you get the call it’s a quick process to being in class

About a week after I submitted the form, which was roughly two weeks before my interview. At this point I’d follow up by emailing the pilot hiring captain referenced in the email.
