In my case it would be hard to tell, I originally applied around 2012, while I was working for a Wholly own, then I left aviation completely for about 5 years, I came back in 2019 and updated my app, but did not have any currency, I went to a regional as a DEC and then covid hit, and I ended up flying cargo, once things got reactivated in the fall I started updating my application regularly and pressed on to get some recommendations on file from AA pilots, so if I count after hiring reactivated in the fall, it was probably a couple of months, but things are moving rapidly now and they need pilots yesterday, so I am assuming things are moving faster now.

I updated my app in November, received the invite to interview in December, interview scheduled for January (first available). From what I hear it is less than a month from CJO to Indoc followed by a few weeks off prior to beginning systems/sim training.

Any thoughts on the key to getting your app pulled?
I’m 3200TT, military veteran, but non flying military, college degree, 1600 121 SIC (no TPIC). 1 internal recommendation. Been updating my app a couple times a month. Crickets.
