Aka…. A good test of “will you notify the other pilot of the reassignment?”

Does anyone that's interviewed very recently know if they are still doing the video interview first? I scheduled mine yesterday and some of the dates were for literally 4 days out, some about 10 days out. In that short time frame I can't imagine they'd send out the video interview?

They did video interviews for a week or so, and then stopped them. No one really knows why, but they are moving really fast.

I know a couple people that are starting indoc class within 2 weeks of being invited to an interview. They got the invite, did the interview 4 days later, and will be in class in just over a week from their interview date.

If you can accept a class quickly, it is a great time to get in!

AA pilot recruitment recently put out to expect as little as 4 weeks between interview invite and class date and be ready to go.

4 weeks? It is currently less than 2 weeks.

The folks in the school house said that AA has not filled the November 10th class yet, but is hoping to with interviews this coming week.

There’s a Nov 10 class? Thought next was Nov 17? Any idea if flows are mixed in or do they usually group all the flows in their own classes?

3 classes in November, 3rd, 10th, 17th.

The flows were supposed to be in the class on the 17th, but they offered to move them to earlier classes. Some took it, some didn't.

Hey all!
I just accepted an interview date for November 17th. 2 questions if any one could help. 1) what can we expect with the “work skills assessment” that’s now required with the interview selection? Is it like the PST with a personality test too? Can/should you prep for it? 2) is there a technical portion for the actual interview on top of the usual HR stuff? If so, what should my focus be to get ready for that? I remember the PST math being a bit challenging? My apologies in advance if it was answered way back in a previous post and Thanks in Advance!

I can't help too much as I just scheduled my interview as well. But, I did the work skills assessment, its its around a 100 questions personality test, I wouldn't study for it, just be honest in your answers. It's one of those where you like on statement over the other in various levels "somewhat agree" "agree" "strongly agree", if that makes sense. As for a technical, if you mean like a full on job knowledge test, then no, it is my understanding it is just a one day interview, consisting of an HR interview, and then a pilot panel, where they do ask some scenario/technical questions, and TMAAT's, thats about it I believe. But again, I haven't done my yet. Check out https://www.aviationinterviews.com for some recent ride reports.
