If you are hired by end of year at age 30 what can you expect to retire seniority wise?
I'm mid 30s and started towards the end of last year. Projections show me at around 1000 when I retire. But that number doesn't include any future early retirements or medical outs. Good news is a lot of people getting hired are 40+ which helps your seniority long term. I was mid 50s out of almost 70 in my class.

Summer classes stopping has nothing to do with music stopping. They stop mainline, they don't have to flow anyone from the WOs during the summer since they can barely staff them.

If yall have class dates, rest easy(ish). Welcome to the fAAmily. For those waiting, expect Sep, Oct, Nov classes for fall; no Dec (normal ops).

Good luck.

Probably better than the other 2 at this point. AA has hired the fewest by far, and with the most retirements.
Just for the sake of comparison, it looks like a 30 year old hired at UAL today would retire somewhere around 990 (with the usual caveats, of course).

Yeah, but being 990 of [Dr. Evil voice]one million pilots[/Dr. Evil voice] has to count for something, no?

Currently only 380 on the 'crew age by fleet' that are 29 or younger. There's 149 aged 30. So right now, assuming no youngsters get hired ahed of you in the meantime, you'd retire around 530.

882 are 32 or younger.

990 at UA vs 530 at AA. Adjust for current G4/large w/b's differential and the AA value is comparable to 750-800 at United. So lightly better at AA but not a world of difference. Throw in the greater variety (larger network) and the difference might be considered even less.

I completed the PST exactly a month ago today, haven't heard anything since. I was told by Raven careers that it's at least a couple of months to hear back these days. If anyone else is in a similar position, please feel free to dm. I'm very competitive so it can't just be my profile or how I did on the test, 8k TPIC and LCA on the 73.

FWIW, I completed my online assessment in DEC, haven't heard anything from AA since. But I'm in a different boat.. retired military, heavy jet time, unrestricted ATP w/ just over 5000 hours. Could have been I tubed the assessment, or they've just slowed that much, or ageism, or ....... who knows. Luckily, I don't "need" to work, but I want to. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who's waited a while and then heard back, as to how long it was so I know if they've moved past me or not. I have 3 other offers and 1 interview today. Thanks.
