This post is unreal.

I'll apply to the regionals."

Who's left in the game? AA/DL/UA, Atlas, Alliegiant, Frontier? With the reduction in demand how many 2,000 hr non turbine PIC, 1 jet type rating, no 121, candidates will be getting hired? Don't think you're going to be the four leaf clover unicorn because you saw one of those. Instead work on aiming towards the dead center of the hiring circle - regional 121, more type ratings, TPIC ASAP, more hours, more experience, ASAP.

DAL is only hiring for a couple more months and then taking the rest of the year off. United is supposedly slowing down hiring as well. SWA and JBLUE are done for the time being. Spirit....well...things look pretty bad there.

AA has hired the least so far of the big guys, and still has the most retirements. AA will certainly continue to hire more going forward than anyone else even without today's announcement of more airplanes. With the announcment, it will be the most hiring by a lot.

Nice, hope it gets you an interview later on. Or even an on-the-spot CJO...
If I may ask, what are your (and the others) qualifications like? Any idea how they filter potential m&g suitors?
