To be honest I don’t remember….
but I remember to select to be available on July first.
I may have selected to wait until the background is completed… that sounds more like me ..

I live in Atlanta (not wanting to stay there forever though) so could commute to Miami. Spirit seems to have a lot of flights with empty seats going direct ATL-MIA so would list standby with them in case I could not get a jumpseat/standby flight with American. It seems like an easy commute but please let me know if I am wrong.
Mia is super junior with a ton of flights. Once you have some seniority, Clt is popular with Atlanta crowd, plenty of flights, only one airport to cover, and not a terrible drive if you have to.

You waited 10 days on the Review Board? Just curious how long it takes to hear back.

They used to send an email 2 days after the interview, but it took around 15 / 20 days until they sent me the CJO.
But that was when they were migrating to the new system, so I believe that delayed the process.

yes the migration to the new system, and apparently the recruitment team was traveling to events over some time, on top of a review board back up. 10 of us got sent I hope they all got the job because we didn’t get any explanation as of why. But I’m glad to be joining American!

Awesome. I think the majority of interviewees today got sent to the board. Just curious on a timeframe. Have been told that hiring isn’t what it used to be and most go to board. I dunno. We shall see!

What would the seniority progression look like for a 35 year old joining AA today? Time to 80, and 50% and what would the end number be, roughly?

Thanks!
