I corroborate this. They were spot-on in every way for the interview that I had very recently.

That sounds like exactly what I’m looking for. Do they help with the technical WWYD questions? I worry a little about those coming from mostly 135 but talking about myself and my aviation history I can do all day!

Yes, to an extent. They can give you a very good idea of what you will be asked and some idea of what is being sought in the technical aspects of answering, but you have to keep in mind that the people at these interview prep courses—in general—are often professionals that have worked in hiring at the airlines, but they are not necessarily pilots themselves. So you have to be mindful that they are not necessarily the people who have the expertise to parse technical WWYD questions, except that they will know the exact one-size-fits-all canned answers for some of the questions that are being asked with great regularity. Some of these prep companies have pilots on staff, but the staff itself that will work with you are not all pilots.

My recommendation: Acquire gouge material on technical questions being asked and bounce some of your thoughts off of the more savvy pilots you know personally. This will pay dividends if you're unsure of something in the answers you are considering.

The people working at such prep companies with a background in hiring and/or HR are experts at helping you craft your answers and your delivery, but they aren't always going to know systems or operational content so well unless you're talking to a pilot on staff.

What I will say about PCS: They emphasize that good answers or discussions in the interview are not scripted, so you will be helped and coached in answering questions in a way that is bespoke to you, your experience, and your history. They will make the point that there isn't always a right or wrong answer to many questions, but there are good or better ways of answering things.

How senior is the 787 in MIA?
I’m wondering how long it would take for me to be able to bid for it and then if I’ll ever even be a line holding captain on it.

Default min guarantee?

Hey all, I apologize for asking this question again but damned if I can find it on the threads. Tougher than a UNS after a 25-year gap! What's min guarantee and please include permutations. Ought to be on the profile page...

I think that email, the extra tabs and the interview invite come in no particular order within a few days of each other. I got the tabs, then the interview invite about 4 days later and the database email a few days after that.

I also scanned and uploaded my PRIA documents 2 days before getting an email telling me to name and combine them a certain way so don't jump the gun on that.

About how long after publishing your application did you receive notification from AA? Trying to cage my expectations.
