AA Hiring?

I made an error by asking about december. The question wasn’t about whether the december classes have been canceled but rather what the timeline for new hires has been re: being assigned classes. I don’t believe it is necessary to impugn my airmanship (“situational awareness”) because I made an error and included december.

But considering you aren't even on property yet and you're telling people off, I'll stand behind my comment about a lack of SA. I'll evidence that by quoting your other two posts on this forum under your new screen name where you criticize the hiring process and even divulge you have training failures. In 5 posts you've completely triangulated yourself. Well done.
I also have some training failures. I did not go to any events. I had two internal recs from fairly new FOs. I got an interview and talked about them openly and honestly in the interview and was offered a same day CJO. Not sure what the magic formula is but just saying, it is possible.

I applied early October and got an almost instant response from recruiting, to add something missing on my app... silence since then. Did not get a spot for a personal interview during RTAG, which I went anyway and had the chance of having a nice conversation with one of the AA FOs there.
TT 12000+ and TPIC 7000+, almost all WB, internal Rec but did not finish my degree...
Any ideas of what can be holding me back? Or since I applied last month, it is too early to be expecting an interview and I'm overthinking this?
My app shows all "green and published", do they block it or let you know when there is a "thanks but no thanks"?
Thank you for your feedback!!

Are you really under the impression that “SA” is strictly related to airmanship only? If so, that’s pretty bad “SA” my man.

I’m just shy of 4000TT, 700TPIC and came to AA from a 76 CA position. Took me 6 months from when I applied this year to interview. Have you had your app professionally reviewed? I had other friends from my last company CA on 76 get an interview within weeks of applying. No one knows the algorithm lol

If you can, hire a company like Pilot Counseling Services to do app review. Sometimes that gets the ticket. A simple way of writing things, not adding things etc etc can differentiate the system picking up your application. Good luck!

Are people seriously not doing that theses days when applying to a Major or Legacy? I mean that used to be a given but I guess people think with this hiring market an app review is not needed. Wow, have times changed.

I didn't do an app review, but used an interview prep service (highly recommend it). My apps were successful and I received interview invites from all "big 4" plus other airlines. Not saying an app review service isn't worth it, just that I personally didn't find it beneficial.
