I know of a few individuals like you, only helicopter tpic and all hired at AA.

I have a couple failures on record. One from 5 years ago and a line check from almost 2 years ago. I know people have been hired with similar issues but I’m afraid they are screwing me over. They are divulged on pilot credentials with nicely worded descriptions of what happened and what has been learned.

Have you hired anyone for app review or career counseling? Maybe they can help you craft your story better.

Does the longevity of the source of your internal LORs carry any weight? I have a good one from a probie FO but could probably put in a little legwork and get a decent one from a 35 year CA. Is it worth the trouble? I'm sure this has been asked but I couldn't find anything via the search.

I think letters are at most, a tie-breaker if they are on the fence about you. I don’t think it will matter

Yeah I had my airline apps reviewed a few times and they had me word my failures a certain way. I just transferred the same info to pilot credentials. Either way I feel selecting yes to the question puts the app out of view. Seemed like the same thing was happening with Delta until I went to a hiring event they had. Then I got an assessment 10 days later.

I also have some training failures. I did not go to any events. I had two internal recs from fairly new FOs. I got an interview and talked about them openly and honestly in the interview and was offered a same day CJO. Not sure what the magic formula is but just saying, it is possible.

I appreciate that, I’ll continue to be patient. Don’t have my apps out anywhere else, I’m pretty set on AA

Default Frontier to Jump Flow?

I’m at AA WO (live in base) and have an interview invite from Frontier (would have to commute). Want to get to AA, would jumping to Frontier be worth the pain and get me there quicker (I have 0 tpic)? Looking at the money math looks like I lose out in this situation so would 100% be a seniority play.

Most likely, unless you believe the staple rumor
