that's pretty accurate...my class of 30 back in August was 10 flows, 6 military, 5 regional CA's, then the rest were NK/F9/B6 CA and FO's, and few ACMI's and Foreign Airbus operators. No Regional Fo's and everyone had at least 500 TPIC from the 121 world. (well except for the MIL guys)

Thanks all for the responses!

So is it fair to say if one’s end goal is AA, it’s best to stay away from their WOs?

Only if you can fog a windshield. But seriously, if you feel confident in your application and interview, off the street has been the way.

Folks,

Last week a got a phone call from an American Airlines recruiter, asking me to "tweak" a few things on my AA application, which i promptly did, I called him back, and said he was gonna present it to the hiring committee and should expect a call/email for a in person interview in the next week or so. Has anyone gone thru this before? if you did what was the time frame between that call and the email?

Thank you

Same thing happened to me. 5 days from the phone call to interview invite. I picked my interview date and I received a CJO on the spot after the interview.

Anyone have the email for support for the pilot skills test. Had a connectivity issue while taking it on a trip and not sure if it was counted or needs to be retaken. Now I can’t find the invite. Thanks

Does anyone have annual or total hiring numbers since AA started hiring in the mid 2010s?

Default 135 tpic

Currently at a 135 operator on the Embraer 145 I was wondering what American would prefer 135 TPIC or 121 time at a LCC

Thanks for the help

Turbine PIC is turbine PIC. They hire from all over. Had guys in my group that were military, 135, p91 jet and regional captains. If you mean 121 time as an fo in a LCC I’d go get the PIC time.
