Is this seriously influencing your thoughts on AA hiring?

AA's training philosophy doesn't include memorizing limitations. Yeah, I was just as shocked when I learned this going through training. But no complaints here!

I just enjoy not learning bull****. The blue bus company has it nailed down. Very little anything to remember

And I mean not really. I just want a good gauge on training before I make a decision and show up. Multiple offered means I gotta look more closely

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not. I got an interview coming up

Nobody and I mean nobody should be struggling through AA's training program. Plenty of time and resources available to get through. Very low on the extracurricular bull**** too. By far the easiest stress free training I've been through.

There are a couple memory items on the 737 (trim runaway type of stuff, fall out from the Max accidents). But other than that there are no hard memory items. You will need to learn enough about the systems to pass a hundred question multiple choice test and of course flows, profiles, and call outs like any other airline.

Downside was the cascading schedules in the schoolhouse. Start late at 7p day 1 then progressively moving through the week to be starting 5am show last 2 days of the week with not a lot of time between.

Yeah, that did kind of suck especially if you wanted to prepare for the next day because you had less than 24 hours. However I never found it too much of a hindrance and I loved that it allowed you to fly in and out on your days of training if you wanted to go home during your two days off. Getting three nights at home vs. one was nice.

you’ll go to the review board. You most likely have something messed up in your paperwork. Or they needed more clarification on something. Review board is just an example extra step most everyone gets the CJO after. Now when it meets and how often varies. So you could hear back in week to a month. Keep your head up!
