Anyone know of anyone getting an interview at AA with 0TPIC time? Currently sitting at 3000TT, 1700 Turbine, 600 Part 121 SIC, multiple internals, recruiting event attendance, reviewed app, no failures, union volunteer stuff, bachelors degree but no TPIC yet and cannot seem to get my app pulled. Thanks in advance.

Makes sense. The most JR Captain on the December award was a Nov 2019 hire. So will be right at 3 years on property when the bid is effective. That numbers only going to drop from here. Makes sense to want some PIC experience coming in the door. They’re going to Captains very quickly.

Anyone know if I’m competitive? Former AF vet (F16 engine maintenance) A&P license, flew UAV/UAS in Afghanistan as a civilian (surveillance stuff) BS degree in aviation (3.88 gpa) flew for Psa for 4.8 years and now at frontier. 4,080tt, 1,181 TPIC. Typed in A320 and CL-65. I did bust my new-hire oral exam at psa and I got removed from a line check back in 2021 as a downgraded FO over a medical certificate problem. But got through captain upgrade twice without issue and A320 type without issue. I learned from it for sure.
I haven’t been to any career stuff yet but that is my next step.

Yes. You’re super competitive. As is always said earlier just disclose everything and own up to it in the interview.

Seems to be pretty competitive. Have you applied? If you do get an interview I would come in with the expectation of not getting the CJO the day of no matter how well it goes. Your package will probably need to go up to a review board to get approved due to those two Part 121 incidences. But people have been hired with a lot worse.
