Any new hire, 0 TPIC , civilian ULCC new hires making it in? Or are they still getting enough competitive apps with PIC at this time? Thinking of throwing my app in but wondering if its a waste of time.

Put it in, go to a job fair, you never know. But if you don’t put it in it will definitely be a waste.

How would putting an app in be a waste of time? If you want to work at a legacy carrier, get your app reviewed, submit it, and update it at least 3-4 times per month.

There are regional FOs getting called with 0 TPIC. Just have a good application, network a little, go to a job fair. You will be in.

Dude… A waste of time? Best case they call you tomorrow, worst case you hear nothing. The app takes all of 30 minutes to fill out. If you want it, go and get it. Why is this question asked so frequently?

Some people don't want it enough. Have a few buddies I've had to push and push to get their apps filled and reviewed, don't understand their lack of drive and motivation. Just know I'm over it. I'll help them, but won't push them anymore.

They will still be there when the music stops. Then they will be forced to scramble if they still want a job.

I have about 75 TPIC, can’t get a call. App has been in forever. Nothing bad on my application, no failures at all. Family member at AA asked head of recruiting last year, and their CPO last month what it took to get a chance. Both sources said it was a hard requirement for 500 TPIC minimum. Then I see all over people getting hired with no TPIC. So I honestly have no clue what it really takes.

I got hired with 79 TPIC, stay patient!
