Do you realize it's Industry Standard for the mainline carrier to give their regionals (wholly owned or non wholly owned) priority over OAL?

Do you understand that by giving YX pilots priority over OAL not a single AAG pilot is harmed?

Of course you know. You just don't care because the rhetoric is that AA is ENTITLED to priority on a YX JS. We are only OAL one way.

All these arguments. No jumpseats awarded out of order.

What a sad pathetic little whine.

Good one.

The reality is that APA chose the option that hurts pilots.

You're welcome aboard as an OAL Time of Check in. It's the same treatment I get on your JS. If you want to continue to be petty and deny me for giving you equal priority that's entirely up to you. It's funny that you cry over receiving equal treatment

no they didn’t. Republic single handedly did all of this. You guys want priority everywhere without giving it everywhere. You unilaterally changed the policy without an agreement

the good thing is the gate agents don’t work for republic and they don’t want to be fired. It would serve you right if APA terminate the jumpseat agreement all together.

The APA most certainly did choose this.

After nearly 3 years of talks AA management agreed to give us AAC FDJ once AA IT had resources available to implement the change. Covid happened and the whole discussion was tabled. It was last month when AA management contacted Republic to implement the change since IT finally had the resources. At this point APA took their ball and went home.

AA management is onboard. Republic management is onboard. Local 357 is onboard. APA unilaterally chose option 2 which is to give AAG pilots the same priority we receive. Your anger and questions should be directed at APA.

As far as cancelling the JS Agreement do it. It's really funny to watch how AAG pilots are afraid of industry standard and call this a JS war for receiving equal treatment.

its not equal. Are you willing to give AA pilots priority on all of republics flights? Didn’t think so

APA had no reason to choose anything. There is an agreement in place, and there is a travel guide in place.

This effects AA pilots, not management, so of course management doesn’t care. Luckily APA does.

If you think this will end well for republic you are delusional

You are receiving equal priority. We are OAL right? Then explain to me how you are entitled to priority on the YX JS. At this point I don't even care about AAC FDJ as long as the Reciprocal Agreement is Reciprocated.

Its an American flight. That flight number and pairing would not exist if it were not for AA. AAG pilots can’t be offline on an American/American Eagle flight. That’s one of the benefits of having AAG sign your paycheck.

The operating carrier owns the JS.

You have all the benefits as D1 D2 for the seats that AA owns. But the JS is not owned by AA despite your assertion that it is.

You are being given the same priority we receive. I'm sorry you feel harmed by receiving equal treatment.

which of AAs planes do you not want priority on? Or are you wanting priority on all of AA’s planes and only giving priority on some of yours?

I believe it was Southwest that indicated if APA does this for Republic, Southwest will reciprocate and allow all OAL jumps to go ahead of AA pilots on Southwest. As an AA pilot, I'm more interested in equal access to Southwest's 700+ aircraft than I am to Republic's 240+ aircraft. Agreements are just that, an agreement between two or more parties. One party in this 'agreement' doesn't agree. I guess precedence takes place. How's that work in a legal sense I wonder...
