i have, first I said in my first post that I don’t work for republic. What is your question? I’ve read the FOM but I’m not going to post any of that information for people to see.

Looks to me like the APA email basically said call the IOC duty pilot and they will get you to work if there’s an issue. Heck I’d way rather get a seat in the back than the jumpseat. Problem solved.

All I said was that the FAA doesn’t care about everything in the FOM. They don’t care about uniform appearance or what order people are listed for the jumpseat, just that the person in the seat is qualified and CASS approved. As to adjusting pass travel, the parent company can do what ever they want. It’s our responsibility to get to work if we decide to commute. Sounds like AA is doing what UAL did when SkyWest made the jumpseat an issue. They just gave us a positive space listing. It usually wasn’t an issue, but SkyWest employees were left at the gate when they were bumped for a positive spaced UAL pilot who was denied the jumpseat.
