seriously? You don’t know that you have to follow the FOM? You cannot pick what parts of it you agree with and not?

Not all parts of the FOM are created equal. Do you really think that the FAA cares if you don’t wear your hat or if your jacket isn’t buttoned? It’s in there under uniform appearance, but the feds don’t care. The operational rules are another matter. I don’t have a dog in the fight, but at the end of the day the only power the captain has is to say yes or no to the pilot that the gate agent sends down. Just remember, a regional may control the jumpseat, but a legacy can always change the non-rev program for seats in the back and neither the legacy or regional employees can do anything about it. Be careful picking fights when you only have one weapon and the other side has many.

MyIDTravel does not allow us to list on AA branded flights. Our only option is to list as a D2 or D1.

I’d be thinking long term picture. No AA pilot will be listing anything other than D2.

So you guys have resorted to doxxing? Classy...

Ill rephrase:

Is this better wording for you?
Yes. And it's a substantial difference, not just semantic quibbling. On one hand, you have actual agreed-to terms (which you even likened to a mortgage) that you are trying to accuse Republic of reneging on. A man should honor his word, and all that. But it turns out there are no such terms, so the accusation falls flat.

On the other hand you have the status quo, which merely mans what's already been happening, without reference to origin or justification. And yes psychologically it's much harder to move away from once it's been established, because the beneficiary immediately feels like they're owed it. It's a hundred times harder to say no to something the second time than the first. The camel's nose is already under the tent. But I'm trying to figure out why you think you're owed the current arrangement, and/or why that should figure into the priority that they offer you on their jumpseat.

American management is going to stop a revenue generating program because, why again?

Let’s see, you’re revealing their real name and workplace on Facebook (or internet board) for the intent of smearing them.

You’re confused. A republic CA is spreading false information. Never said his name was revealed. You guys need to get your facts straight before you start informing other pilots what exactly is happening. Again, I’d let your union handle this.
