They can have a gate agent convert to a D6 or make a D6 listing at the gate. I've seen it done, so anyone saying it can't be done is flat out wrong.

Beyond that, a D2 FDJ listing will be accepted, but only after any D6s.

So you admit time of check in does not matter, D6 always trumps D2?

I hope you never try to jumpseat on my flight.

AA is OAL on YX. It’s over. The APA walked away. It’s really that simple.

You can list D6UJ on YX like all the other OAL’s. Time of check-in. It’s really that simple.

The first kid from Republic that lectures to, and then walks an AA jumpseater off the flights deck, and goes in search of an OAL pilot to take his place is going to have a rule named after him. His name and that rule will be invoked every time a Republic Jumpseat rider shows up…it will be the “ANYONE over a Republic Jumpseat Pilot” Rule. Like many of you have said, “It’s not personal”…but if a Republic rider shows up, they better hope there isn’t ANYONE else trying to ride.

In the words off Jack Reacher, “Just remember, you wanted this”.

my thoughts as well. that’s why I asked about the guidance on the “my ID travel”
listing. There’s already one republic CA being discussed on our internal board for stating this.
I’d be thinking long term picture. No AA pilot will be listing anything other than D2.

These guys here think it’s five of us who have a problem with this. In reality I’ve seen it discussed on our Facebook groups (all of them...), our union forum, and in person. Everyone agrees this is a bad road to go down. Not a threat, just letting you guys know that you read the room wrong.

Not at Republic so this does not affect me, but i remember hearing exactly the same things from UA pilots 2 years ago.
The problem is that once the policy is changed the pilots are forced to enforce it or break the FOM.
They are doomed whichever way they go, either they violate their FOM and are subject to all kinds of repercussions or they are being threatened by the partner that they will not be allowed to fly with them nor apply for them.

The FAA is concerned with jumpseat priority, eh? Come on.

The gate agent sends down a pilot with 1W on their ticket, you check their credentials and say welcome aboard. There is no situation on this planet where the FAA gets involved, or you get in trouble.

They will be breaking the AA travel policy as well.
