Easy to say we had a temper tantrum from your perspective where you benefitted from an unequal agreement and never even had to think about how the other party to the agreement was being impacted.

It's astounding to me how people can actually defend this agreement and then take the position that Republic is in the wrong for pursuing equal treatment.

From my perspective it's some select AAG people that are throwing a temper tantrum because the little guy deigns to not just accept an unequal status quo and did what they had to do to fix it.

At the end of the day there was an agreement in place and RAH pilots decided to break it. Whichever party it benefitted is not relevant.

No, we decided to change it within the constraints of what is allowed by the agreement. We're not breaking anything.

Saying it's irrelevant which party it benefitted is some tyrannical nonsense. I sure hope you're never in a situation where the roles are reversed and you're being treated less than equitably.

It's astounding how self-centered some pilots can be. All complaining, no constructive solutions.

What part of it did they break?

Im confused are you are going semantics on the word “break”?

Ill rephrase:

A status quo was established and RAH decided to unilaterally change it.

Is this better wording for you?

Again, so what?

A status quo was established that wasn't remotely equitable and Republic changed it after pursuing an alternative that wouldn't affect any AAG pilots.

So what would you have done differently? Be specific.

Or would you just say we should continue to accept something that isn't fair to our pilots?

I get treated less than equitably pretty regularly by the company due to some poor contract language that both parties agreed to in various sections. What would happen to me if I just said I’m not doing it? Eventually I’d get fired.

JetBlue and Alaska fly passengers that purchased tickets on the AA website due to our awesome new codeshares. Should they get priority too? If not why? Because the paint on the airplane doesn’t say AA? They are doing the same thing RAH is…….flying PAX that bought tickets on the AA website.

The first time an AA pilot gets left behind on an eagle flight because a delta pilot checked in first this whole thing is going to go south for you all.

Again we’ll disagree but it doesn’t matter who benefitted.

I believe an equitable solution would be to fix the AAC v D6 issue. That is a problem that should not exist. You would get de facto priority due to being able to check in earlier.

If your paycheck doesn’t come from AA money you are OAL. Period.

The JetBlue/Alaska argument is silly because you are OAL on them as they are to you. So if we are going to be pooled in with them, which I personally believe is different, then you should be OAL on us.

Again semantics. It was a hypothetical to illustrate a point. We fly their passengers too therefore would have priority on them…………..or not because flying some other airlines pax around shouldn’t give you anything.

Should we also give and get priority with oneworld partners? How far can we go?
