Here’s how this played out:
-You guys asked APA for this change multiple times (You guys make this point frequently).
-APA said no, and subsequently ignored your continued ask for the same change.
-You realized you won’t get what you want, so you knocked our priory down.
All in the name of equality, right lol. You didn’t get what you wanted so you’re trying to hit us back, it’s abundantly clear regardless or your delusions

where is it against the rules? You'll be forced to do what every RPA guy has to do on AAG, create a non rev and a jumpseat listing. The rule is not that you can't do two listings, it's that you can only check in for one. We have to make the determination to abandon our seat in the back and check in for the jumpseat pretty early or be burnt by an Atlas air pilot and be left behind.

Negative. Republic. Mesa, and SkyWest pilots are forced to do it all the time as you never gave us the ability to roll our non rev listing into the jumpseat. Sounds like you need to make sure your MyIDTravel password is up to date.

Then it’s even less effective. The gate agents follow web ref when it comes to priority in clearing seats. You cannot accept anyone in the jumpseat without a 1W boarding pass. The gate agents cannot give out 1Ws out of order. So yes, you can deny us the jumpseat, but you will in effect be denying everyone listed below us the jumpseat as well. The gate agents will not skip down the list because they get in a lot of trouble for that.

Does AA have the equivalent of an “access” card like we have at UA? It allows a potential jumpseater to go speak to the Captain without actually being awarded the seat, in the event of multiple Jumpseaters where the priority is in dispute. The Captain ultimately decides who gets the seat(IE: scabs don’t ride in the cockpit- I’d take an offline brand X new hire over a scab) but a cockpit access card allows you to speak to the Captain and remove the gate agent from the awarding process. Perhaps something like that would help in y’all’s situation.

Are you really going to lecture me what our travel guide says? I don't care what Republic, Mesa and SkyWest pilots do. We can not do it. We do not list like they do, we list as AAG employees. And AAG employees can not list as D6.

Not sure I follow. When you say “it will very much be y’all’s situation”, are you saying that AA is in the process of implementing a system similar to ours at UA?

No, I’m saying that the planned response to any unilateral change in the status quo will be disproportionately more painful for RPA pilots and employees. I’m still skeptical that your union would be stupid enough to pull the trigger on this, but if they do, the planned response will hurt real bad.
