I think this is a great suggestion. AA could have second priority behind our own pilots on AA painted planes and a separate third priority behind UA and DL pilots on respectively branded flights. That seems fair to me. AA would be getting priority on the AA branded flights and would be ahead of all OAL for the UA and DL flights behind RP pilots and the respective codeshare partner pilots. It would make commuting easier for AA on our UA and DL aircraft. It's not really fair to expect to be above UA and DL pilots on the respective branded flights. I think all can agree on that.
In any event you will all be welcome in my jumpsuit no matter how ugly this might get. The jump seat is sacred and I'll never let politics or egos keep any other pilot from riding in mine.
Oh yeah, most of us at RP are nothing at all like Chet. Cheers!

I'm aware of this but also experienced enough to know how ugly this could get. During the United tiff I'm proud to say I continued carrying United pilots. The union was wrong and I won't support a wrong position. No amount of argument would ever have diminished my confidence in the correctness of my actions during that ill conceived attempt at telling a codeshare partner how they should govern THEIR jump seats.

RP was Chautauqua and we all became YX years ago. I’m having hard time believing you’re Republic because your account was created 5 hours ago.

AA is already getting bumped off those seats, currently, before the proposal; and would continue to do so with no change. You're wanting to deny Republic this improvement that would come at no cost to you. You want to make them continue to suffer not because you get some benefit out of it, but just because you can.

Bedford’s buddies altered their FOM to allow OAL pilots to bump us off RAH jumpseats. They say it’s time of check in, but we don’t have access to the listing process to allow us to check in at the same time as OAL pilots. This is all on American Airlines flights operated by republic.
