Jumpseat Battle Brewing

3.4 oz. No wonder the TSA gives you a hard time. You have to know the rules to be able to make an educated contribution. So far all your posts have been the same. Extremely uneducated and wrong.
We don't want to leave AA pilots behind. You guys chose this for yourselves. Why are you angry about receiving equal priority for the JS? You're upset about the way we are treated by you?

What is D6UJ? There's a D6U and D6L. If you cannot list D6U it's time to reach out to your JS committee and find out the proper procedures

Cool story. FOM table will be used and AA has zero control over the jumpseat. Just remember it is APA that chose to lower their members priority. We wanted to go below all AAG pilots and ahead of OAL in order for the AAG pilots to continue to receive priority over OAL on YX.

we can’t list as D6. So now you’re gonna have to walk down the jet bridge every time to figure out the priority. Sounds fun. Our check in time will always be earlier on the current D2 listing. You really think AA IT is going to go through a whole change over on the system just because of you guys??

AA IT was willing to make the AAC FDJ reality after years of patiently waiting until APA protested. If you can't list D6 then the YX CAs will have to do the walk. That's fine. I'm a commuter. I do the walk every time as it is. I'm assuming I should ignore the riff raff in your group and trust that the majority of AAG pilots will be honest if they got to the gate before / after the OAL JS if there is one

Here’s the thing... we have an existing jumpseat agreement. You guys are attempting to unilaterally change the terms of it. That isn’t how agreements work. Management at AAG is not okay with the change. AAG management is also responsible for the policies that govern how the gate agents clear seats. It’s real nice for you that you’re changing your FOM. Unfortunately it is going to have consequences for your entire airline if you go through with it. But again, I stand by my prediction that nothing will happen. If it does, it will be short lived, because it will disproportionately effect RPA employees.
Sounds to me like you have a lot of questioning to do if you truly believe what you stated. The change is coming whether you believe it or not. What exactly is going to affect us? We are already OAL on AA. Are you going to cancel the JS agreement? Deny JS?
Finally, yes we have a lopsided ie. Non Reciprocal agreement. This change for AAG pilots makes it truly reciprocal. OAL Time of check-in.

AAG management, Republic management, Local357 and APA all agreed to a band aid fix until AA IT could make the necessary changes to implement AAC FDJ. As a result of those talks the change to our FOM in late 2019 was amended. Covid happened and it wasn't until earlier this year that AAG management said AA IT now had the resources. Now APA is throwing hissy fits over it and chose the option that none of the Republic pilots want (Make AAG pilots same as OAL).

Let AA come down on RPA. Any of you AAG guys ever consider some of us don't care? I have no desire to go to AA, I couldn't care less if I never fly an eagle plane another day in my life. All these empty promises that your making on behalf of your company aren't all that scary. Rather RPA loose all the AA flying, and lose my job as a consequence, than fold to you clowns.
