Idk, but I would say it is continuing to be an issue..

Same BS happened to me last night. CPT came over to me while I was sitting at the gate, telling me how if I wanted to fly tonight, we have to go 'fix an issue..' Then proceeded to continue to talk over me and the gate supervisor trying to tell us that re-listing from a D2 to a D6UJ is 'gonna be done if he wants to fly on my airplane' (both for in the back or up front.....) and how I would "keep my original checkin time" (which we all know isn't true).

In the end, I wished him well on his career as a YX lifer and took a different flight.

I thought that if you came across any issues like this you were allowed to A1 pass yourself.

report the douche. he flies an AA flight, operated by RPA. RPA has no authority over priority codes, that's solely AA. An AA Gate Supervisor has more authority than a contractor captain like RPA.

There is an APA jumpseat committee message that says to call the IOC Duty Pilot if denied. They can help you get to work. It's dated May 29

Yes, we can call scheduling and get an A1 if the captain acts out.
