Some idiot from RPA tonight decided to hand one of our gate supervisors a piece of paper trying to direct them to ignore their WebRef directives and issue the 1W out of order. The document was filled with lies and claimed that we have the ability to list for D6UJ on myIDtravel. He threw it away and instructed all of his gate agents to ignore all request regarding the jumpseat from RPA pilots, and to not issue 1W’s out of priority. I really hope you idiots enjoy ****ing off every major airline when no one can get a 1W on your flights that FDJ AA or FDJ EAG are listed on.

LOL, you guys have an over inflated idea of yourselves. The gate agent is going to do exactly what it says on his/her screen per AA policy. You can kick, scream and delay all you like.
Feel free to explain the delay to your CP that you were fighting over the AA gate agent following AA boarding priority on an AA flight.

Doesn’t republic employees have to list D6 for their own metal flight jumpseat and the gate agents change them because they will have priority on own metal? Or does the gate agent just award out of order. What does their screen say to do for that.
So it’s not like they can’t do it and won’t do it. I think republic changed their FOM too so if the gate agents don’t the capt can’t allow it per the FOM. ASAP? Don’t forget about the operational control issues your assuming the gate agent wants to deal with. Sounds like a worst case scenario doom and gloom with a a cool ASAP for operational control. It only will effect you if you list while someone OAL lists at the same time.

Talked to our union rep and…
fedex, jetblue, swa and others sent memos to our management asking us to not make an AAC FDJ. Additionally we are the only carrier who gives priority to RPA employees in the cabin of RPA operated flights. My rep stated that rpa wants priority on 100% of AAG flights yet is only offering priority on 30% of RPA flights. He also said UAL and DL are to going relook at the RPA priority.

It's the CA's jumpseat to refuse who the gate agent sends; it's not your option to pick who they send on an AA flight. That is done by the AAG gate agent in accordance with AA boarding policy. You can't even understand that simple concept.

It wasn't that long ago, in the early part of my career, that only AA pilots could ride in an AA jumpseat. And IIRC Delta had the same policy. So, even though the captain can refuse all but the special listed few from a jumpseat ride, it's actually the company's jumpseat.
example, after 9-11 it was ONLY the company's jumpseat, then own company, then finally OAL.....

The agent doesn’t have to “send” anybody if the Captain does the walk. How do you think we’re handling this?

You can walk all you want. They get cleared in order from the AA priority list. If you refuse an AAG 1W, your jumpseat goes empty. They won't just issue to the next person. You do not get to pick who they issue the 1W to.
