AAG pilots also have such a ****ty relationship with their FAs they can't even ride their FA JS if there's no commuting FAs.
You should worry about fixing that on your end before you worry about my JS.

AAG pilots let their gate agents control the JS.

Our own Jumpseat committee prohibits us along with AA from riding in the JS as AAC. That's the reason we have to cancel our AAC listing and be last as D6U for both the JS and seats in the back.
Seriously my opinion of AAG pilots has changed and I honestly no longer care about the priority bump. The agreement is now fair on both sides. Welcome aboard.

JS priority has zero to do with security but nice try. Sounds like you ate up that whole APA and Envoy ALPA lie that we bully your agents into AAC FDJ.

Why do you continue to fight us on this issue? Why are we not deserving of a slight priority bump?

Your agent cannot tell me the priority for my JS. I am not part of AA. I can even take my pilots without a listing if that's what it takes. You are the one who is confused because you live under your AAG bubble. My FOM says what is required to ride the JS and in what order. Everything else is just misinformation from your side. The only way a D6 doesn't go is because your agent refuses to check them in (which they do with regularity). In order to ensure Time of Check in have your agents convert your D2 to a D6. Thanks.

Are you saying when a D6 checks in at the gate the agent doesn't run CASS right away?

You do not decide who gets a 1W ticket; sorry.
Your FOM is meaningless in AA flight boarding priority. When you run a reposition or ferry flight, THAT is a Republic flight. Everything else is an AA flight.

If the company tells the agents they can only send junpseaters down in the order they tell them to, what do you think they’re going to do? Do you think it matters what you say?
You can deny anyone that comes down the jet bridge. But you can’t control what the gate agent does. This isn’t coming from union emails, or here, or anywhere. It’s basic knowledge on how this stuff works. The gate agent controls what tickets get printed. They control who goes down the door, including the operating crew. I can’t even get to a plane that I’m about to fly without the gate agent.

You’re acting like gate agents are gonna care enough to step in the middle of all this. Most just want to get the flight out with no conflict and they need the Captain to do that.

If their managers tell them not to clear out of order, do you think they’re going to go against their managers wishes or the wishes of a captain from a different company? I think they’re going to do what their manager tells them and if the flight goes late it isn’t their fault. Just my guess. That’s out APAs control
