The RLA was designed to help management. About the only way to move things along is for the president to tell Parker directly that APA will not ratify any contract that isn't retroactive to the amendable date, even if they try to sweeten the offer to make it effective on signing. Might not make a difference, but you've got to be patient and don't do the company any favors in the meantime.
