That makes sense. I’m really wondering, on average in somebody’s BOS experience, roughly how many times I’d have to make the trip home-BOS on LC compared to a line. Other option is commute (fly) to PHL. Overall, looking for max QOL, not max pay…trying to sort out if PHL or BOS is the best way to go.

Pre covid, when commuting was easier to Bos, there were tons of people commuting to ny, phl, dc with no seeming desire to be home based

Looking for info on DCA 737 vs Bus. Trip quality, jr lineholder, percentage of flying at IAD/BWI.

I recall reading somewhere that the 737 is probably the quickest path to get to DFW…is that still accurate?

Really tough to tell right now. I used to exclusively bid SCR and have stopped since coming off LOA because all the reserves are getting hammered, especially LCR. Now that we are hiring again hopefully things will normalize back to pre covid where every day wasn't a staffing issue. If you really don't care about money I'd say line holder would better due to some(very limited in BOS) ability to drop trips or at least trade for shorter ones. This month for example I will only work 6 days. Last month 9. Pre covid on SCR I probably did 5-7 per month with some months at ZERO days.

Impossible to tell until things recover. My WAG would be yes but it wouldn't be by much.

Edit: Junior 73 pilot is about 400 numbers below the junior 320 pilot in DFW right now.

What is your relative senority in BOS if you don't mind me asking?

Its been moving a lot. Before covid I was low 70s. I was 96 a few months ago and creeping back towards pre covid.
