Those are euphonious appellations, generated in cubicles. Pilots, by contrast, prefer terms like “Dump Truck”, “Mad Dog”, “Scarebus”, “Jurassic Jet”, and “Sewer Pipe”.

Pretty sure only SWA has min calendar day and their trips have a crazy amount of credit.
I don’t get it either, I sent a sound off for what that’s worth

God I hope not. Average calendar day sucks. They will build miserable trips with it.

How do other airlines build decent trips and we won’t be able to with average day? It will be just fine. And for junior people more days off.

I’d love to have min calendar day but no way in hell we get it. Think the only big airline with it is swa.

I actually don’t “care” one iota that AA calls their 767 the “luxury liner” just listing something that is unique to AA. They can call them whatever they want.

Have you seen some of the trips delta builds with it? Not all sunshine and rainbows. Especially on the MD-88.

Yeah. I also know junior guys get more days off on average than our junior guys. I have buddies on the 88 out of ATL that get fully commutable 16-17 days off within a year. The rewards far outweigh the risks. I cant believe people would be against min average calendar day pay.

I'm not against it. It's better than what we have. But we should be fighting for better duty rigs and min calendar day instead.

So with the LOS issue will the eagle guys that lost all their years of service have them reinstated? Only really effects vacation but it would be nice to get them back.

I’d love that but no way in heck we get that especially out of section 6. It’s not industry standard it’s better than standard.
