One thing about APA - we do have some very smart folks in there - our VP - TH - is one of the most impassioned SCOPE guys I’ve ever met. He was scope chairman during the JCBA and was the one that got Kirby to back off the 89 seat grab - instantly. Of all the things I’m worried about, SCOPE is not one of them.

- - - -

The things we need to figure out what they are worth - our biggest bargaining chips - are:

1) Sims after midnight
2) Extended seat locks
3) Vacation Slide ability

These three things are absolutely killing the company. Training demands are their number one issue, and vacation sliding into holidays has been catastrophic for manning.

NONE of these are on the table for the Christmas Miracle negotiations, but they will be for C2020.

These all have a price. AA very, very expensive price.

There is no reason to give any concessions in 2020. ZERO.

I agree. The company is going to have a hard time attracting pilots. That is our number one leverage factor - and it’s their own fault.

I’m only pointing out things the company needs - and to me those are very, very expensive!
