AA bubbas, wonder how much of a big deal do you think this will be. Just saw a blurb about it on CNBC. Good luck!

All the flights will get covered and everyone that helps will get a Christmas bonus in the form of 200+%. Expensive mistake but the passengers will never know it happened.

APA is expressing concern that there's nothing in the CBA would hold AMR accountable for actually paying pilots premium pay for coving this company induced staffing shortfall. I guess the question is: do you trust management?

I hope that they at least gets a MOU that addresses pay at the mainline. On the regional side, my guess is the December whippings are just starting!

The media is reporting 15,000 flight affected, that's gonna hurt.

At PSA we got a 200% LOA for Christmas. It has a lot of carveouts but it's still something. Even with the LOA we still have something like 30ish trips uncovered each day during the holidays.

Hoepfully they'll offer something for yall to cover the flying.

I don't think you'll see any more disruption than normal, whatever normal is. 200% pay gets a lot of guys thinking of green christmases.

There's a lot of pilots unhappy on how the matter was handled between the union and the company, but ultimately it should be transparent to customers.
