And people forgetting PHX airbus base has shrunk in almost half? 737s all over. I’d wager PHX once FOI is done with FAs and the inevitable 737 base is announced won’t be as ugly. I know they say no 737 base but we can all see that’s BS.

I had been applying ever since American opened the application window. I think for off the street and non flow, 10k TT with a few thousand PIC and at least two good recs is a good ballpark. One last thing, update your application religiously. AA is data driven and they know who cares enough to work here, and who doesn’t. Hang in there, you have the time, now just work on everything else if you haven’t done so already. Good luck!

I use to agree with that. Then you look at FOS and see departures from PHX, CLT and ORD. You see the airbus goes mostly just to hubs from ord. However the CLT and PHX flying of 737s is all over the place not strictly as hub oriented. I jumped off the AB to get ord as I just didn’t see it happening. However I hope I’m wrong.
