OTS-UPT at 21-22 and out by 23-24. Get hired and drop mil. Or get through seasoning and get hired at 25-26.

Hey guys,
I'm curious about the guy/girl getting hired at 25ish as well.
I read 50% of AA new hires are flows. I assume he/she cant come from there yet because guys flowing now have been at Envoy/psa/pdt for years if not decades at the moment.
Another 40-45%ish are military and ,correct me if i'm wrong but initial contract is 7 years so he/she cant be military.
That leaves us with the 5% strictly OTS civilian people. What was on their resume that set them apart from the thousands of pilots flying 121, 135, heavy ACMI operators, intl 91 and so on ?
I'm "wow"ed by people who make it so young.

Good for them. Until they come rolling Into marina driving a 130 ft yatch w two dogs and 3 blondes lounging and the back of the transom reads “Plane to See” the only response... Probably an atrocious pilot. Jealous of that guy and Steve Hinton jr. And maybe that 24 year old now

Good for the 24 yo, however nothing beats decades of quality flight experience and a great resume, which I am certain there is an abundance of. The airline can do what they want here, but I am hearing them loud and clear when they hire a 24 yo.

How should they do it? Go to the first resume that has the oldest/highest time person?
