AA Class Drops

Believe me a a big aa73 fan, hell I'd love to see him run for APA President. That's exactly why I made the comparison (and added the emoji). No harm intended.

I have almost 1000 hours in it and I still wasn't used to it. It's an odd duck, that's for sure. Is it a comfortable cockpit? Sure. Is it a nice airplane? Yeah. However, my time in Boeings have shown me that they are a superior product, albeit older technology and/or cramped, loud quarters. Plus, I actually like flying...not just manipulating Control Wheel Steering.

Dude, you can't use that word you used without us LUS guys thinking you're poking fun or being sarcastic. Are you on the 73 yet? It ain't the 75/6. I'm thinking your take on it being "superior" to the bus will change. To me this job is about comfort, not the 5-10 minutes of flying on a 3-6 hour flight. Plus, you don't find your groove on the bus until 2,000-2,500 hours. Then you ride on a 737 jumpseat and the genius of the bus hits you.
I'm all for a big comfy cockpit and less work. I could care less about which one hand flies better or whatever. But 2500 hours to really get the hang of an airplane sounds crazy.
However, I hate boeing as they are the number one enemy to all US airline pilots and I hope they go out of business. Serious

Thanks man! what a vote of confidence! But no, I'm done with union work, time to go back to being a mushroom. Promised I'd only do 2 years and that time is up, time for new blood. Our j/s committee is second to none, what a great bunch of guys that I'm gonna miss working with. To all of you who are interested in helping out, APA is in constant need of volunteers....go for it, they need you.

Honestly, I flew the 737 here at AA for 500ish hours and I was not impressed. I hope I never fly it again, to be truthful. Other Boeings, yes, but not that one.

Boeing, a US company that has zero loyalty to the US
It a free market, but they aid Norwegian Air, aid the ME3 and is one of their biggest proponent, and have order on the books to Iran. Just to name a few thing this Benedict Arnold of a company has done.
I am sure if North Korea was in the market, Boeing would be right there with a great deal for them too.
Oh I forgot to mention how well they treat their frontline employees too.

Don't forget Boeing building a completely new factory in CHS in order to union-bust, and that factory turning out substandard aircraft that some airlines refuse to take delivery from (thank you Al-Jazeera America for doing real investigative reporting like our news media USED to do, the documentary is online if anyone wants to watch it.)
As much as I don't care for Airbus's control philosophy, I think the new saying is...if it isn't Boeing, I guess we're still going.

All this and add in the ex-im bank.

It's funny that you think any airline flying is "actually flying."
Go rent a Cessna if you want to actually fly the plane. We're just systems managers as airline pilots. And unless you're 5'2, the Airbus cockpit is much more comfortable to accomplish that task.
