The 767 was a pretty big increase in work load, just from lack of automation that the Bus had. I can remember having an Airbus jumpseater remark to me after starting engines that it looked like I was operating a steam locomotive.

The -80 is the original "steam locomotive". I'm in 73 school now. I lost count at 250 items in the expanded checklist for "flight deck preflight procedure"..This procedure is "Normally accomplished by the First Officer".

Flying the 75/76 too long... He's been asymilated into the "Boeing or it ain't going" crowd In all seriousness, I thought you were interested in the Super 80. I saw a couple guys get it, but were probably displacements from ORD and STL (I know SLT at AA) I guess.
