There’s no mainline base that isn’t easily obtainable if you’re willing to be a junior nb fo. Might take a couple years but there’s not anyplace that’s totally inaccessible for a significant fraction of a career.

if you’re insistent on seniority progression and/or airframe that’s another story.

I’m at a point in my career that I don’t really care what I fly and how much I’m getting as long as I’ve got a good QAL that allows plenty of time with the family.

Do not commute. I’d even work for Spirit if it meant not commuting.

I think I create a better schedule than people much senior to me by actually learning the system and taking advantage of it. You get out what you put in, so being a junior lineholder can be a pretty good deal too

do you have class dates at all 3? If not, go to who hires you and keep your AA app updated. If you live in South Fla, this is where you want to be.

Definately will go with whoever hires me. The AA website doesn’t even allow to create an app at this time. Any idea when they will start taking apps again?

sure. But the question was “how long to hold Base Z” If you’re willing to be the plug, the answer is never more than a couple years.

It’s the “how long til i can hold X flying Y out of Z” that things get dicey

Default New hire rumors

Any rumors on new hire classes for those with a CJO outside the most recent recruiting email?
