How much faster does seniority move on the 737 vs the 320 in MIA? Is there much "quality of life difference" between the two airframes aside from the argument of the more enjoyable flying experience of the Airbus? Also does one airframe tend to have better or worse trips/layovers? I will be commuting to MIA until my renters lease is up in my home there at the end of this year. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

The 737 in MIA has the best narrowbody trips in the system. The majority of the Caribbean layovers are on the 737. The Bus does a relatively small amount comparatively speaking and does more domestic flying. I think it's safe to say that the majority of pilots would argue the bus is a more comfortable ride to spend hours upon hours in. It's also just a big automated computer that takes much of the work out of the pilot's hand. 737 is a pilot's airframe; more of a stick and rudder experience and a lot of fun to fly. But it's loud and cramped.
So it just depends on what you're after. If you want to sacrifice some seniority for the more comfortable automated experience with less exotic flying and working less in the cockpit, go 320. If you want the fun flying to more exotic locations but in a cramped and loud cockpit where you have to work more with less automation, then go 737.

The 737 is the more junior airframe in all of the bases that offer both the 737 and 320. In MIA, the 320 has been a fairly decent amount more senior than the 737. You'll inevitably gain seniority faster on the 737. Having said that, there is so much movement right now that your seniority is going to move quickly just about anywhere. For reference, this month the most junior line holder on the 737 in MIA was a 9/19 hire. 320 line holder was a 5/19 hire.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post that. This is exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciate your feedback and insight!
