I took a screen shot of the 2 paragraphs but I can't attach it here.

FWIW - Just trying to do my part (as accurately as possible) in passing info to pilots out there trying to get on.
No problems..... I was fearing that they were going to "overhaul" the process and that would take some adjustment.

Great to hear that it's an increase in overall hiring!

In the 2 paragraphs under "mainline hiring" I didn't see that. First paragraph had data I posted above.

The second thanks current pilots for thier recommendations and reminded us the only way to submit one is via the aa.pilotcredentials link.
Check your email. Flight Department Hotline on 8/18 has a link to the 4/17 email that states that info.

This is the part this company doesn't seem to understand. When you hire almost exclusively flows and military extremely well qualified pilots stop caring and start looking elsewhere. Once again American has made its own bed.

Yes, and even worse, it's also going to result in a very homogeneous pilot group, which will keep future positive changes to a slow trickle...I say this as an Air Force guy too. I'd really like to see about 1/4 flow, 1/4 mil, 1/4 other regionals and 1/4 part 91/135, but I'm not King of hiring.

How about all flow. That seems most fair to me. How often would they like their apps updated?

"Extremely?" Ok? Unless you have around 10000 hours I think you are exaggerating a bit. Additionally you don't seem qualified enough to get the point of my post. It is going to be a pleasure to fly with you I am sure as you spend four days giving me your resume.
