Airbus out of PHL international is tempting but not if it means a super long time on reserve. Thanks in advance!
If BOS is available on your drop you will have a line out of training. Reserve goes senior there.

Phl has been moving pretty good lately on the 320. Once the 190 displacements happen, that could slow the movement temporarily.

Have MD-80 displacements already taken effect? If so, are those pilots already being assigned class dates? Thanks.

There’s currently a displacement bid open for the rest of the S80 pilots. Bid closes May 25. Preliminary results will follow sometime after that, which will tell the month their training will start. Most should be around Sept-Oct

True. It'll be interested to see what happens when the dust settles. A lot of the 190 FO's want to change bases altogether. Who knows what'll happen with some of the captains, but the 190 has a lot of commuters.

the displacement rights could be nice for the seniorish FOs and CAs who want to go to CLT, since no one else has gotten in through traditional vacancies. I am really interested if they are going to create secondary displacments of the bottom FOs in CLT if a lot of S80 guys/gals bid CLT???

Will there even be displacements on the FO side? Almost all of the FOs have been awarded another airplane and are being withheld.

If you are being withheld from another bid status, can you get displaced?

Keep in mind the bid closes in May, effective October. In that time frame over 200 people will retire. So out of 350 displacements you're really taking a net 150, and that assumes no more MAX aircraft are being delivered this year.

Instead of displacing people they very well may just take the staffing hit and let attrition work through the overstaffed positions.

Dinner is in hotel. You have time to go back and change. Nice dinner, enjoy!

I honestly suggest giving the wife or sigfig a spa day and let her stay at the hotel. the wives that sat through the indoc (8 hours) of benefits travel planner ect were bored to death and ready to leave by lunch. Just a thought. That what I did, and many wished they did the same when they all met up in the convention center.
