First world problem, but yeah it’s BS.
How are people junior to you getting raises on DOH? The rule hasn’t changed.

To make matters worse, I believe we're the only major that doesn't get the 16% defined contribution year 1...or paid sick time. This equates to nearly $20k less year one alone.

He’s probably referring to the fact that USAirways continued hiring until about July of 2014. So both sides were hiring. We were slotted by DOH on the seniority list. Even after hiring was consolidated, new hires were assigned either LUS or LAA and treated as such. USAirways hires (I was one) are given raises on their DOH and were given the 401K contribution in year 1. Then we pretty much used LAA’s contract for everything...so we got to keep this crappy deal that the APA gave to Crandal in the 80’s. I’m not affected by it, but am a big proponent of fixing it. Email your reps and the NC.

Touché. In fact I created that thread for just this reason. My bad. Derail moved to that thread.

Read the details of the “detail” it does have to do with drops. What you choose affects your future pay raises, so keep that in mind.

It’s like the stock market when looking at class drops - past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

MIA is back after being NORDO for months. PHL 190? MIA.
DFW S80? Premature rigor mortis? LAX? A trickle. Used to be like the golden flow after a pitcher of beer. PHX? Come, and gone, in a flash. Lots of LGA? Fuhgedaboutit. True in the past, fake news now. 767? Ah, the good old days.

Be prepared for six possible bases and four different aircraft. And keep in mind 80%+ might go to one bid status.

“The needs of the service prevail.”

Miami is seriously short staffed on the 737 D side. 20 TDY’s in July. That’s the largest non wide body TDY I’ve seen. I’d expect MIA to be at least 50% of the drop over the next month or two.
