15164 on the list, but that includes all retirees since July 2017. Active pilots is 14615 per the June seniority list.

By the way, someone earlier posted that seniority is based on training completion. that is not the case anymore. It changed after the seniority integration. It is now age and stays that way regardless of class completion date. Class completion date only affects LOS pay raises (which is F'ng stupid, but a concession made in the 80's).

Whats the latest on the 190? Are they going to keep sending pilots thru initial training?

Thanks

They’re updating the sim for full stall training, they’re doing an ADSB update on at least some of the fleet, they just hired a new check airman (he’s also the youngest the captain at AA), and the latest vacancy bid that was just announced yesterday has 6 captain slots....... but no official announcement of extension. 😂

I keep hearing 2020 now. Looks like it’s being pushed out another year

This might have been covered and beaten to death. But, when does 2nd year pay start? “Expected competition of training?” So if someone finished OE in middle of June and was hired in March they won’t see 2nd year pay till July next year? Why in the f is it not DOH?!?!

Also, I’m not griping too much about the pay in my previous comment above. I know What it used to be w the salary... so thank you to everyone who made that change for us FNGs. I wouldn’t have been able to pay my mortgage if it was the way it used to be. So again, thank you all for getting that fixed.

Because "that's the wAAy we've always done it!". Also, it's the scheduled completion date of sims...not OE.

Correct, basically. And good question.

Cost me about $6k in the two month delay from year 1 to 2 pay alone, and is a gift that will keep on giving for twelve years. Also nice is that folks hired after and junior to me get their raises on DOH so I’m paid less than them for two months each year.

First world problem, but yeah it’s BS.
