So PHL Airbus FO is really D & I, correct? Is there a big hang up transferring from a LAA base domestic (LGA) to a LUS base (PHL)? I'm about 6 months from flowing, and just trying to get a gameplan together.

No PHL Airbus is an I bid status. That doesn't mean all your sequences are international though, just that you are qualified to go on international sequences.

No big hangup either, you can move to any bid status you can hold as long as you don't have a lock-in. You can always move to another base on the same equipment without any lock-in and D vs. I does not matter. If you move from a D bid to an I bid on (737 or 320) you have to go to 2 day international training for Latin America and Hawaii.

Yes, this.

I should have clarified...for a vacancy bid, you'd be good to go. Just not sure about Mutual Base Exchange D to I.

What if you've already had the Latin American and Hawaii 2-day training. Do you have to go through it again when upgrading and going from a D to I?
