What your statement above has to do with that fact, I have no idea.

Did that career expectation include L-AA not hiring in over a decade, shrinking to profitability, becoming a virtual airline, having an overall financial loss since at least 2008 and most likely shrinking and then furloughing in the absence of the merger?
But how about them pay rates....

Take two good airlines, Piedmont and PSA and what USAir did to them for starters.
Weren't you the lowest paid legacy airline pilots from 2003 til AA got you a raise?
How many pilots did USAir furlough after September 11? How long were they furloughed?
How many jobs were outsourced to regional partners at USAirways?
Didn't Doug sell your E190 fleet to make ends meet?
Didn't USAirways declare CH11 bankruptcy not once, but twice?
Didn't ALPA at USAirways help you terminate your pension plan?
Yeah, you've got a lot to be proud of. Good thing Doug Parker came along and righted your ship. He's not highly regarded here, but then I guess you tried to warn us. Nice to work for a wildly profitable company isn't it?
I know there's more, but I don't have time to write a term paper..

Piedmont takeover was in 1989.

Admittedly L-US was a ship without a rudder after the failed UAL merger.

While AA took 25% paycuts to save the company and then a few yrs later hit the BK button.

There's not enough bandwidth to cover the sorry history of USAir/USAirways since the 1990's.

No dog in this fight but...you guys welcomed him into your home. So good luck with that.
PS-I like my job. Can't wait for this to be over with for everyone.

Are you my D. I. ?
What would this prove ? You state the fact I am an Eagle Flow through pilot, but what does that or my AMR DOH have to do with East ALPA agreeing to Binding arbitration and then reneging on the agreement once the award was revealed ?
Let me guess...........you subscribe to a "date-of-hire" philosophy as it is the foundation of East ALPA/USAPA integration policy and wish to confirm my inferiority under that paradigm ? Considering I'm an Eagle flow-through, it is common belief I'm inferior regardless of my AMR DOH.
But nonetheless, it is in the mid-late 1980's which is the best I can do considering its irrelevancy.

When you run in to prater, rice and your alpa gravy train contacts, please give them my best. Make sure you tell them this for me;
NICE TRY ALPA!! BOHICA!
Sometimes those that provide such opinions that I do, have their opinions eliminated from a forum. If I am not here next week, carry on with your unadulterated opinions. Best of luck to you.
