Karma may dictate that the merger falls through completely and the status quo remains.

You guys are all beating your heads against the wall.

I'm about 50/50 on the merger happening(today), so you may be right. But, that doesn't seem to matter to Judge Silver, so we have a trial to deal with anyway.

If it doesn't happen all this is moot and we follow the TA and wait on the copnay's DJ appeal.

It must really be nice in that world you live in where people don't have to honor their obligations nor be responsible for their actions.

I don't live there so you tell me. You voted for the MOU, live up to it.

Captain Hogg explained what you voted for. AOL told you to vote yes and you would get a "vette." You assumed Corvette, but it's more of a Chevette.

But we do live in a world where people where people do not have to honor obligations.

I'm not advocating it, but look at bankruptcy, foreclosure, how Goldsman Sachs sold financial instruments they knew were going to fail, and the US governments near default two days ago.

We live in a world based on law not justice. People often manipulate the legal system to (and do) get away with murder.

He is currently a member of US Airways management. You think he just wrote that on his own? Really?

Ok but you are really comparing apples to oranges here friend. The obligation to pay ones mortgage or rather not pay due to circumstances of economic crisis is a damn far sight different than what the east did. They KNEW going into arbitration just what that meant and no sooner than the award came out were they putting in motion plans not honor their obligation.

Now this fool comes on here proclaiming that he is being harmed because the MOU said the west agreed to give up their rights. Nothing and I do mean nothing could be further from the truth.

Now I have said this twice already that the courts are going to have to define clearly what binding arbitration is in this country plain and simple or we are set to have many of these types of ordeals.

Yes, it is apples to oranges, but the underlying theme behind these fruits is that people respond to incentives and the law makes them readily available. The process is very disingenuous and so is everyone involved.

I so wish USAPA had not tossed out East ALPA. The MOU to the Nicolai that East and West ALPAs were negotiating would have already had both groups integrated years ago.

I'm afraid that without a merger this legal dispute is going to conclude long after third listers hold a319 left seats.

Don't bother, he doesn't even know what Hogg wrote only modifies the "trigger" of the Nic. not the requirement for the Nic.
