As for his predecessor, Karma is alive and well....I imagine the former Mesa guys will welcome him with open arms.

I don’t think that was ever said about EG, people were scared of him in ANY leadership position let alone VP of flight ops. In fact, the only email the company ever sent us about him in his new position stated that he was to be temporary until they found someone for that role, implying that they knew he was unqualified/unfit. It seems that he was willing to say ‘yes’ to everything they wanted him to do to us pilots and he probably did it for 1/5th the price of a real VP so they kept him on longer than they should have.

I would take a good dude that cares over some of the low life dirtbags we've suffered before. Maybe this guy can make a difference, maybe not, but i can guarantee he'll try....unless we write him off before he even starts. What incentive is there for MW to stick his neck out given some of the predispositions reflected above?
Careful what you wish for.

“Congratulations! Upon review of your application you have been selected to continue in our interview process for the position of First Officer.
“We are rapidly transitioning our fleet to all Airbus and foresee further growth which will drive the need for new higher classes. As future new hire class dates are determined you will be contacted to move forward to the next phase in the interview process. No further action is required on your part at this time, and we will continue to be in contact with you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Pilot Program Manager.
“Should your situation or interest in joining Allegiant change, please be sure to inform us so that we may update your application.
“We look forward to talking with you soon!”
Anyone else get an email? I applied 6 months ago and was a little surprised when this showed up in my inbox. A friend who left there recently and another who is there currently cautioned me against making a move for Allegiant. I haven’t been keeping up with Allegiant lately, so I want to see if anyone could shed some light on:
1) Growth / Aircraft orders?
2) Upgrade times?
3) Attrition?
4) Health Insurance?
5) Senior and Junior Pilot Bases?
6) Company Culture / Morale?
I know to take everything on here with a grain of salt. Just doing some research.

Depends on what your goals are. If you are coming from a regional, there is plenty of reason to come here. But, there may not be reason to stay here depending on what you are after.
Growth is slow right now and has been for the last year or so, during a time when everyone else is hiring. But we are receiving 17 airplanes this year last I heard. Upgrade times vary entirely based on what base. Each base is almost like working for a different airline.
What base are you targeting? You might be looking at a 5-10 year upgrade right now, hard to say.
