Pretty much every recent Airbus Captain upgrade involved a move.
Quick upgrade and "home every night" don't necessarily go together.
Yeah, SFB is not the place to be a junior captain.

The longer it stretches out, the higher the basis of comparison will be. Sun Country just got a contract with rates that blow the proposed ones out of the water, and rumor is NK will be next with a good contract. Not to mention the eventuality of DL/WN.

It sucks dragging it out but it's going to work out in our favor. Each "comparable" company that gets a TA will only make our negotiating position stronger.

Admittedly, I am just plugging number into their little calculator. but at my current rate and average monthly credit (which is pretty consistent) with profit sharing I will be just short of $140,000 in 2015 as a 5th/6th year pay fo. The calculator on band 3 says at the same credit I would only make $104k with alligiant.

I know its not exact science. but that's a pretty big margin.

Usually this means in corporate/union tango that the company has fired someone or people on either trumped up allegations, or on an illegitimate basis in order to get the union to spend negotiating capital for their release (reinstatement). It's been used many times over the course of union/mgmt bargaining history.

What are considered competitive hours these days at Allegiant? Can a new hire FO hold SFB right away?

So, they're FINALLY releasing the seat locks for LAX and VBD Airbus CA slots...would've been nice to have done so for the most recent bid as well so the Midwesterners could get much closer to home at CVG & PIT!! I'm surprised they're pay-protecting the FOs that are going to be delayed upgrade now.
